Chris and Carol Green
Founders of the Fruitful Life Network
Chris and Carol Green (CLC, B.A., M.A., Doctors Honoris Causa) are authors, educators, certified professional life coaches, leadership consultants, songwriters, poets, trained international statesmen, compassionate listeners, ordained ministers, and students of life. They are also traditional marriage & family advisers, conflict resolution mediators, mental wellness promoters and human rights advocates.
They have served in pastoral leadership in the United States (Missouri and Pennsylvania) over 30 years. In 2015, they stepped outside of the traditional church setting to directly connect with their community. They employed a three-part network of disciplines that has enabled them to synergies their personal success in marriage and family, with their vast wealth of professional experience. That 3-part network includes:
2.) the Fruitful Life Learning Community, and
3.) the Fruitful Life Media Library
These community-supporting initiatives have included hosting free monthly workshops in an unemployment center, on-call support and training of the staff of a women's homeless shelter, training of mentors in an ex-offenders program, consultation with local service organizations, and collaborating with various community outreach efforts.
For their community service, they received the Harambee 2019 Community Leadership Award and a United Way 2017 Volunteer of the Year Nomination. They also received Urban Leadership Awards (2016) and Community Ambassador Awards (2015) from iChange Nations™, and the Goodwill Ambassadors of World Peace Award (2015), as part of an Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative to the United Nations by Golden Rule International.
Chris and Carol Green received formal Leadership Training (a 5-year school of ministry) from Dr. Raphael Green (D.Ed.Min) who founded the Metro Christian Discipleship Academy in Saint Louis, Missouri; earning licenses and ordinations as ministers in May of 1991. To further enhance his education, Chris completed two business certification programs at the University of Missouri-St. Louis’ School of Professional and Continuing Studies. They both completed a lay-counseling certificate program from the American Association of Christian Counselors.
They continued to expand and grow in their professional development through their enrollment in United Graduate College and Seminary International (UGCSI), where they received their Bachelors and Masters degrees in Christian Leadership, as well as certification as master life coaches through its Colleges of Christian Education and Divinity: Educational Department. They currently serve as Professors of Searcher Education and Vice Chancellors of Administrative Leadership at UGCSI, where they provide professional development for the institution's global team of educators.
They have also been the recipients of honorary doctorate degrees (conferred in 2016 and 2018) in Christian Leadership (Chris), Humanities (Carol), and Society & Human Rights (both) to acknowledge their many years of service and significant contributions to society and the field of life coaching.
They have also served as local prayer and para-church team leaders in the My Hope campaign/ outreach of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Together, they have been the authors of 14 inspirational life-building books, and the creators of several blogs and eNewsletters. They are also accomplished songwriters, having penned and produced over 150 songs since 1992.
Their travels have taken them from coast to coast in the United States, to Hawaii, the Bahamas, Trinidad, the United Kingdom, and West Africa.
Chris Green also serves on the Board of Directors of Metro Associates, Inc, a community outreach organization based in St. Louis, Missouri. As MAI's program director of media outreach, from 1989 until 2004, he helped coordinate itinerant travel and street outreach and events, produced an award winning cable TV broadcast (1999), and established two music publishing companies called Heart of the Nation Music and Metro Arts Publishing, through the Arts and Productions division of Metro Associates.
They have been happily married since December of 1980 and have successfully raised three sons. They have two daughters-in-law, two grand children, and a host of people throughout the world who call them 'mom and dad'. They are a husband-wife team, currently based in the south central Pennsylvania region, who were commissioned to rebuild, restore and renew hearts and homes.
Chris and Carol Green are not affiliated with any political party, religious dogma, or 'bandwagon' social movements. They have been under-the-radar leaders in an international phenomenon in which people of faith have been moving, by the thousands, out of their traditions and buildings to take healing and hope to their educational disciplines and fields of expertise.
